Website privacy

This policy covers only the corporate website, its contact forms and analytics. The LifeBot AI application has a separate policy.

2. Data processed

The form asks for your name, email address and message. You may also provide an optional phone number so we can reply to your enquiry by phone call or WhatsApp; you can submit the form without it. Your enquiry also includes the service or plan of interest, source page, language and receipt date and, if you arrived from an ad or an external link, the campaign and landing page or referring site, without cookies or browser storage. Required fields are needed to handle the request; without them the form cannot be submitted.

The website infrastructure processes technical data, such as IP addresses and operational logs, to deliver the service and prevent abuse. We do not request special-category data; please do not include it in your message.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Handling enquiries you send us: our legitimate interest in responding to requested communications. When you ask for a proposal or information about engaging our services, processing is based on the pre-contractual steps you request.
  • Keeping the website secure and preventing abuse: our legitimate interest in protecting the service and its users.
  • Meeting legal duties applicable to our relationship with you: compliance with those duties.
  • Optional website analytics and advertising campaign measurement: your consent. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to advertising or require you to accept analytics.

4. Retention

Enquiries and related correspondence are retained for the time needed to respond and provide the follow-up you request. If a contractual relationship results, relevant information is retained for that relationship and the legal periods applicable to its records and potential liabilities. It is to be erased when no longer needed for those purposes.

Technical and security logs are retained according to the time needed to detect and resolve incidents or abuse and, where applicable, address legal liabilities. The analytics preference is stored in your browser as explained below.

5. Recipients and providers

Enquiries are emailed to the team handling LifeBot AI requests. Service providers supply website hosting and execution, server infrastructure and email delivery: Vercel for the website, Amazon Web Services for the backend and Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) to send enquiries.

These providers support the technical delivery of the service. Google receives the requests needed to load Google Tag Manager when analytics is configured and you accept it. OpenAI receives ChatGPT Ads measurement pixel events (pages viewed, technical browser identifiers and a notice that an enquiry was sent) only if you accept analytics and the pixel is configured; to attribute conversions to its ads, the pixel may send hashed contact details. The message content is not sent. Competent authorities may also receive data where legally required.

6. Analytics and browser storage

When analytics is configured, the website offers controls to accept or reject it. Google Tag Manager, a Google service that loads measurement tools, and the ChatGPT Ads measurement pixel from OpenAI are only loaded after acceptance. You can browse and send enquiries without accepting them.

LifeBot AI stores your choice in browser local storage under lifebot.analytics-consent. Its purpose is to remember acceptance or rejection; it does not contain the name, email, phone number or message from the form. It remains until you change your choice or clear the website data in your browser.

You can change your choice and withdraw consent using the “Analytics” button. Rejecting after accepting reloads the page to stop loading Google Tag Manager and the OpenAI pixel. Cookies previously saved can be removed in your browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

7. International transfers

Infrastructure and measurement services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. The published data protection terms of Vercel and Amazon Web Services provide for European Commission standard contractual clauses for transfers that require them. Google publishes mechanisms based on adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses, depending on the destination and service.

You can consult these mechanisms at vercel.com/legal/dpa, aws.amazon.com/compliance/gdpr-center and policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks. To request information about transfers involving your data or a copy of applicable safeguards, email admin@lifebot.io.

8. Rights

Where applicable, you may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by emailing admin@lifebot.io and explaining your request. You can withdraw analytics consent using its controls. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

The contact form does not make automated decisions or profile the person submitting it.

9. Security and changes

We apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to risk. This policy will be updated when forms, providers, analytics or processing purposes change.
